XTWIP – Delivering real-time collaboration

XTWIP is an API for ActionScript developers that helps them create real-time collaborative applications.

How it works?

XTWIP allows developers to turn their online RIAs into real-time collaborative with just adding few lines of code. Users can afterwards share their documents and interact with the same objects, write on the same textbox or modify the same diagrams. The amount of information that gets transferred is completely controlled by the developer.

Where to begin?

Go to www.xtwip.com, create an account and download the SDK. You will receive a developer key, that you will use in your application to identify yourself with the XTWIP service.

In the dashboard, you will find an example of a collaborative application demo build with our service. Use that demo to quickly begin writing code that works.

Account types

XTWIP is a Software as a Service platform that measures the amount of information transferred by each application.

By signing up with XTWIP, you receive a FREE account, and your application is allowed to transfer a limited amount of information between its users. In order to bypass that limit, you must buy a startup or business account.

Metrics

XTWIP counts the number of collaborative documents that the application creates and the number of actions that your users perform on those documents. Think of documents as groups of objects that can be created, modified or removed by your users.

You can always check the measures of your application on the dashboard.

Data privacy

We assure you that the information transferred by XTWIP service between your users is always secure. We also safely store the information in our data centers, in order to allow your users to be up-to-date with their documents, from wherever place they want to access them.
