Lucian DESPOIU is the General Manager and founder of the KONDIMENT Group, one of the biggest full service digital marketing agencies in Eastern Europe.
KONDIMENT debuted in the interactive industry nine years ago and today the company offers a full range of services: strategy and consultancy, online marketing and communication, design and training and web analytics services.
Today the company has offices in Romania, Germany, USA, Great Britain and Armenia, planning to expand in Turkey and Bulgaria by the end of the year.
KONDIMENT’s clients are top players from various industries: Vodafone, Dell, CEC Bank, UPC, Ursus, ING Bank, Romanian Government, CEZ, Blue Air, BitDefender, F5WebCorp, Fabryo.
Before KONDIMENT, DESPOIU was involved in two entrepreneurial projects. One project was an NGO called „Volunteers for Ideas and Projects”, started in 1998 with Liviu Dumitrascu. Its purpose was to bring together the student elite and the leaders in the socio-economic and political environments, and to cultivate their entrepreneurial spirit.
Two years later, DESPOIU partenered with the same Liviu Dumtrascu in developing eJobs.ro.
In 2001 he founded KONDIMENT, and in 2004 he left for London with the purpose of opening the first international office of the company. One year later he made his exit from eJobs in order to dedicate his time exclusively to the KONDIMENT business.
In order to bring further value to his company, DESPOIU brought as Partner in KONDIMENT Joerg SPRINGER, a highly experienced entrepreneur, with a solid, international know-how. KONDIMENT’s rise continued in 2009 by opening the Armenian offices after the takeover of the Support & Development Division of Lycos Europe.
Furthermore, he developed Inpolitics Media, the only Romanian agency dedicated exclusively to online political marketing and communication for both local and international markets.
In parallel with the international expansion, DESPOIU developed KONDIMENT as a group, by launching Buyos.ro, a standard e-commerce platform for SMEs, and Sellerator.ro, a platform dedicated to bigger companies requiring enterprise-ecommerce solutions and Kombo.ro – an integrated platform for online communication needs of SMEs
