Cristian Manafu

Ex-business journalist, Cristian Manafu is one of the most active bloggers in Romania and a well-known organizer of business-to-business events. In 2008 he founded a communication agency named Prodigy and since 2009 he became a social media strategist.
In his 8-years career in business journalism (the last 3 as editor in chief for Bizz, Stuff and Campaign), Cristian was in charge of launching and re-launching some well-known magazines on the Romanian market. Since November 2006 Cristian is Managing Partner at Evensys, a company that is specialized in business events and since October 2008 he is Partner at Prodigy, an online communication agency. In 2007 he co-founded Eventive, a company that provides management and logistics for corporate events.
For the last 3 years he updated almost daily his personal blog, manafu.blogspot.com, where he writes about media, internet, advertising, blogging, technology etc.
Also, he has been involved or he personally organized a large number of the most important events and projects dedicated to Romanian blogging: Netoo, Webstock, Web 2.0 Awards, RoBloggers Survey, RoTwitter Survey, RoTwitter Conference etc.
His blog, his projects and events brought to him a great deal of recognition from bloggers and the online community:

In the beginning of 2009 he launched the blog Strategist.ro that express the new orientation of his interests: social media.
